Newport News woman facing deportation gets extension after pardon (Richmond Times-Dispatch)

THE ASSOCIATED PRESS A Newport News woman facing deportation tomorrow for a decade-old crime has received a one-year extension a day after being pardoned by Governor Tim Kaine. The woman, Kathryn Anne Ingleson, found out today that U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials had granted her request to postpone her deportation.

n a news release, police said they responded to a call at 2:15 p.m., with the caller saying people were fighting in the 500 block of Helmholz Avenue.
